Tesla ($TSLA) is set to join the S&P 500 this upcoming Monday, potentially creating a volatile few days for the bookmark index. This move comes after Tesla’s stock absolutely exploded this year, making them the 6th largest company in the US by market cap. Originally the plan was to introduce Tesla’s stock over a two day period, but ultimately they decided to just rip the bandaid off and do it in one.

Today, in the midst of one of the largest shipping booms ever, FedEx beat estimates on both their EPS ($4.55) and revenue ($1.23Bn) numbers. Investors weren’t focused on that though, as the stock dropped more than 6% off of the uncertainty and lack of guidance provided by the CEO. This comes as the shipping giant struggles to keep up with the increased flow of online deliveries.

Discord, the popular voice and text communication software, raised more than $100m in a series H round, placing their valuation at a staggering $7bn, more than double their previous valuation. This boom is largely due to the explosion in the gaming industry recently, which Discord is capitalizing on as they are expected to have more than $100m in revenue this year.

Twitter recently announced that they are beginning to beta test an audio experience on their site for a limited amount of consumers. This feature, called Twitter Spaces, will be similar to Clubhouse and will allow users to talk to each other in “spaces”, where a host user will be able to moderate a discussion. Soon you’ll be able to yell at the person you’re arguing with on Twitter instead of just tweeting in all caps.
